Frog Aquatics Swim team
Welcome! We look forward to hearing from you shortly regarding your interest in trying out for Frog Aquatics. Please contact Linda Arquieta-Herrera to set up a date.
Just to let you know, all new swimmers will be asked to tryout with the Head Coach.
Assessment tests determine what group the swimmer will be placed in. A tryout does not guarantee placement on the swim team.
Some of the necessary basic skills required include swimming:
- 25 yards Freestyle with side breathing (without stopping)
- 25 yards Backstroke (without stopping)
- Demonstrate 1-3 strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke, and/or Butterfly)
- Comfort and endurance.
If a swimmer cannot meet minimal expectations, lessons will be recommended.
When a swimmer is assigned into a group, the coach of that group will continue to assess each swimmers growth and ability.
